Prosecutors have filed motions to allow these individuals to use pseudonyms during the trial to protect their identities.
Ventura's willingness to publicly associate her name with the case is significant, given her previous allegations against Combs. In November 2023, she filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking, which was settled the following day. Additionally, in May 2024, surveillance footage from a 2016 incident surfaced, allegedly showing Combs physically assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel.
