Title: Responding with Forbearance: David’s Patience Toward Saul
Anchor Text: Col. 3:13
Contemporary Quote:
*"Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting." — Joyce Meyer
Leaders today must learn to wait. There are moments when quick responses feel right, but forbearance reminds us that some victories come only through endurance. The ability to “stay under” pressure with grace is a mark of godly leadership.
Forbearance is not passivity—it’s holy resilience. It says, “God sees, and God will act—so I will wait.”
Reflect on these questions this week:
- Are you currently in a “wilderness” season as a leader?
- Are you tempted to force a solution rather than wait on God's provision?
- Are you bearing with someone who wrongs you repeatedly?
