I know this is a platform some of you listening associate more with your 9-5 days than entrepreneurship. But for those of you who are tired of fighting with the Instagram algorithm, LinkedIn is a great, low-stress alternative.

The goal of this show is never to tell you what you “should” be doing, but to give you options. And LinkedIn could be just what you need to market your business with more peace and profit this year!

My guest is Simi Awokoya, a career and personal brand coach for women of colour. She’s helped 100s of women use their personal brand to book more clients and attract income-generating opportunities like brand collaborations and speaking engagements. She has been featured in Forbes 30 under 30, Financial Times, and the British Prime Minister.

Simi’s goal is to help more Black women thrive in their careers and live their lives on their terms. A big part of how she does that is through her LinkedIn Lifestyle strategy that’s led to thousands of email subscribers, booked out coaching spots, and being booked by global brands like Uber, Deliveroo, Meta, and Google for speaking engagements and brand sponsorships.

She does all of this by marketing her personal brand on Linkedin in just 1 hour a week…and now she’s sharing how you can do the same.
