Today we’re talking to Asad Patel. Asad has been involved in running brick and mortar businesses since he was a child. Amongst other things he’s run a clothing store, a cell phone store, and a food truck.

In this episode we dive deep into the various businesses that he’s been a part of and the branding lessons he’s learned along the way.

Key Lessons:

  1. Brands are shortcuts for decisions - When looking at members mark products, people don’t even look at the price and make comparisons because members mark is established as the generic, cheaper brand
  2. Speaking in the language of your customer will help you build trust
