Back in the early 18th century, there was a guy named Wedders who had a nose that was seriously next-level. It was said to measure 7 ½ inches long — that's about 19 centimeters if you think in metric. His nose was so huge that it would count as an extreme case of something called hypertrophy, which basically means abnormal growth. According to a book from 1896 called Anomalies and Curiosities of Medicine by George Gould and Walter Pyle, Wedders wasn’t shy about it at all. He actually traveled around Yorkshire, showing off his incredible nose. Safe to say, he definitely made an unforgettable first impression!
