You won’t believe how ingenious our guests teaching techniques are! Noelle Michaels, Private Speech Therapist and Tutor, gives us great teaching (and parenting) techniques from her three books- SNACKademics, The BEST Way To Teach A Child COLORS, and Verbal Apraxia.

Noelle grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and realized that she wanted to become a teacher at the age of 8. Interacting with children was always her passion. Presently, Noelle is working with outpatients at St. Clare’s Hospital and is serving speech and tutoring clients through her private practice, Superb Therapy, LLC. She always uses fun, unique techniques to help children with Verbal Apraxia, Articulation Disorders and Language Disorders so that they may communicate better. Noelle shares her techniques through trainings offered to parents and professional groups (daycares, preschools, elementary schools, agencies, etc.). Noelle‘s education includes a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Queens College, certificates in Special Education and Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant, as well as a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, from Montclair State University. She also earned a Master’s degree in Bilingual-Bicultural Education at Seton Hall University. Those degrees help her to better serve both English and Spanish-speaking children and their families.

Enjoy listening, and you may want to take notes! Thanks Noelle!
