Hello again and welcome everyone to this special edition of CFRC 101.9 FM’s Campus Beat with host, Dinah Jansen who is joined by Abyaz Karim, a Masters student in International Business who has recently joined the CFRC news team as the Campus News Reporter, alongside one of the station’s dedicated AMS student volunteers, Jaya Kumar.
Coming up, we’re pleased to present conversations we held with each of the Candidates running for SGPS Executive Offices in addition to statements our team has read on behalf of those who could not join us in time for broadcast. In this episode, you’ll hear from or about 14 SGPS Executive Candidates including SGPS Trustee Candidates Emils Matiss and Nick Mertin, Presidential Candidate Dawood Tullah, Vice President Community Candidates Ava Fiorino, Claire Dobbie, and Tanya Joseph, and also the Vice President Finance Candidate Oishik Battacharya. After that, you’ll year from or about the Vice President Graduate Candidates Ali Fathi, Ikeolupawo Baruwa, and Surabhi Velagala followed by the Vice President Professional Candidates Amir Shetaia, Destine Lee, Megan Roth, and Rit Nanda.
