It's the scary season here at SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FILM and we're kicking off the month of October with Rob recommending one of his all-time favorite movies, Brian De Palma's (BLOW OUT, THE UNTOUCHABLES) 1974 Horror rock opera THE PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE. This slice of goth punk greatness stars William Finley (SISTERS, THE FUNHOUSE) as Winslow Leach, a down on his luck singer-songwriter desperate to get his music heard. When the pop icon Swan (played by indelible Paul Williams (THE MUPPET SHOW, SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT), takes notice and decides to steal his cantata to open his new club, Winslow's life spirals out of control before taking on a new persona, The Phantom. Buttressed but incredible supporting performances by Jessica Harper (SUSPIRIA, LOVE AND DEATH) and Gerrit Graham (USED CARS, TERRORVISION), PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE is a tour de force that cannot be missed!

Will the gothic punk campiness leave Ray looking for the exit? Or will Winslow's journey leave Ray willing to sell his soul for rock n' roll? Tune in this week to find out!
