Blast From the Past - Listen to Breaking Into Agriculture with Cassidy Johnston on: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Stitcher | Google Podcasts

Remember this episode from season 1? Knowing where to begin when getting started in Agriculture is very much still a topic of conversation now as it was back when we first recorded with Cassidy Johnston. Cassidy is a public speaker, consultant, podcaster, and avid advocate for the beef industry. She discusses how she developed a passion and drive to work in the beef industry from the suburbs of Denver. Her perspective as someone who didn't grow up around agriculture has helped her when communicating about the beef industry. It installed the importance of recognizing her own strengths and areas for improvement.

There's a place for anyone and everyone in the beef industry. It doesn't matter if you're a fourth-generation rancher or someone from the city looking to work a summer on a ranch.

In this Blast From the Past Episode - Breaking Into Agriculture with Cassidy Johnston, we cover:

  • Cassidy’s background and how it has pushed her along to where she is now.
  • Ways of properly communicating with those of opposing views on and off social media.
  • A brief overview of the enneagram and how it can be used as a tool.
  • Importance of connecting with people where they are at.
