Trending today: new data on the danger of touch screens in vehicles, which can be a major cause of distracted-driving crashes – so much so that Victor suspects it might even be more dangerous to fiddle with the screens than it is to text while driving (though you shouldn’t be doing that either). Also, with rising evidence that touch screens in general do more harm than good, Aaron wonders if our pendulum will eventually swing back – or if this is the rare moment in human history where we end up sticking with the less functional thing. (It has happened before…)
