Hey Family! Check in Check in! HAPPY MARCH, IT IS STILL HAPPY WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH! In light of this year’s theme— Refusing to be Silent— we wanted to Speak on something that isn’t talked about enough in a calm state… women for women. Ladies let’s connect! Let’s have an open dialogue on why we don’t truly support each other. Why do we shade each other? Where does this animosity come from?

When you know better you do better! And we want you to tell us if you agree with why we think more women don’t connect and truly support each other. Today we are joined by our very first guest, Anzala Alozie and she brought some great insight to the system we are currently in and system we should strive for.

Anzala Alozie is the Executive Director of the youth for the Capital District YMCA and also the Executive Director of the National Women of Color organization. She is not one to be afraid of voicing her concerns when she sees a situation that needs a change. We are honored to speak with her and we look forward to Connecting with this Sista again!
