There are concerns that tens of millions of dollars being injected into after hours urgent care services won't make treatment any cheaper for patients who will still be paying to go to private after hours clinic. The government has announced 164 million dollar over four years in Budget 2025 to expand urgent and after-hours healthcare services across the country.
