We don't read the Bible as a religious duty, as a book of rules, for inspiration, or to have more knowledge. We read to know Jesus and to experience intimacy with Him. We meditate on Scripture as A.W. Tozer says so that we may taste and know the inner sweetness of the very God Himself in the core and center of our hearts.
