Meet PC Robert Moon and PC Rory MacRae . Two ex-Scottish police officers with many fictional tales to tell based on their combined 40 years police experience.

Ride along with Rory and Bob in the nineties and noughties for a painfully blunt, shockingly macabre but above all eye wateringly funny uniformed patrol of the beautiful Scottish Highlands . One from the luxurious heated seat of police BMW and the other from the gritty front line of a remote single manned village police office.

Hot Fuzz crashes head on into Trainspotting as our boys in blue drag us into the heart of every drama, conflict ,car crash , mountain rescue , death ,outrage and laugh as the they struggle so hard but achieve so little ,up holding laws they seem to have largely made up in a rapidly changing policing world.

All the while battling a level of police beauracarcy , incompetence and corruption which will leave you questioning everything Netflix ever taught you about real policing.

Be warned these fictional tales are of their time and are presented to give the listener a concept of rural policing at the turn of the century ,as such they rely heavily on the dark humour adopted by so many officers as a coping mechanism to the horror and trauma that came with the ‘job’
