In this week's episode, Bobby and Sarge discuss the amount of police equipment now being carried by officers on their belts, their vests and in their vehicles. Is it helpful or are we should we be re- entering the phase of keep it simple, stupid? Does it make the life of an officer easier when a guy who sits behind a desk, with minimal dirt on his uniform, decides the troops need the latest and greatest equipment of the day? Should equipment be tested first by the troops before making it mandatory? Should the backbone of our police agencies have a say? Sure, there's equipment that's been implemented that has helped officers do their job more efficiently, but, if we are honest, there's tons of equipment that was huge waists of money and time. What say you?
