Jimmy Hall is a singer, musician and songwriter, known around the world for his soulful vocals and dynamic stage presence. Jimmy had a string of hits as the frontman of Wet Willie including their classic “Keep On Smilin’” and also released four albums under his own name. He also had a short lived band with Dickey Betts, Chuck Leavell and Butch Trucks and has been fronting Jeff Beck’s band for many years. He’s a member of both the Alabama and Georgia Music Halls of Fame. This is part one of the conversation with Jimmy Hall. The Crazy Chester Radio Hour is created and hosted by record producer Andreas Werner. This episode was recorded at Creative Workshop recording studio in Nashville.
