Baseball books certainly don’t get much better than this and as an Orioles fan personally, it’s nice to see Earl Weaver that has been given his due. This book “The Last Manager” is the first major biography of legendary Batlimore Orioles manager Early Weaver can certainly be described as “the grandfather of the modern game” and certainly is a wild, thrilling and hilarious ride with one of baseball’s most underappreciated genius’.
