Have you ever felt like you're running on a hamster wheel, giving endlessly to others while your own energy tank hovers near empty?

That persistent fatigue, that people-pleasing habit, that feeling of being constantly overwhelmed – these aren't just normal aspects of a busy life. They're early warning signs of burnout.
Transformational empowerment coach Ramona Crabtree-Falkner knows this path intimately. Despite two decades in the holistic wellness field, she found herself with serious health issues, including thyroid surgery and debilitating back problems that forced her to close her business temporarily. The message was clear: something fundamental needed to change.
"Even if you're in the holistic field, you can still end up in a space of burnout," Ramona shares. "It all comes back to training – what was I trained to believe was the right way to do something?"
Her journey led to a powerful realization: authentic living requires recognizing where your energy is going and reclaiming it from places you've unconsciously dropped it. Through what she calls "the sacred pause" – that moment of breath and awareness before responding – we can check whether a potential "yes" truly aligns with our authentic selves.

Creating new patterns requires consistency and repetition – building new neural pathways through regular practice rather than occasional changes.
