In 1919, 21-year-old Bella Wright was found shot dead on a quiet country lane in Leicestershire, England. The last person seen with her was a mysterious man riding a green bicycle. When the bike was later found dumped in a river, suspicion fell on Ronald Light, a former army officer with a troubling past. Despite lies and circumstantial evidence, Light was acquitted — and the case remains one of Britain’s most haunting unsolved murders.
