The Lord has given His children a way to surrender our blessings to Him so that we never serve or idolize them. The Lord provided Israel with a beautiful celebration of first fruits as a symbol of surrender and thanksgiving. This was to set them on a trajectory of loving the Lord their God first and foremost. Even in this fallen world, the Lord has designed His children to be blessed and to glorify Him with these blessings!

The surrender of our human will and commitment to walk full of the Holy Spirit is foundational to being fruitful and multiplying for His glory, never allowing materialism to take hold of our lives. You may have a turkey coma, but do not be in a spiritual coma!
