Billy G. grew up in a classic Irish family in 1980s South Florida, where he and his siblings were drawn into a high-stakes world of drug smuggling. By his teens, he was running surveillance for a multi-boat operation moving thousands of pounds of marijuana and hashish from Colombia into the state. Living a double life with Porsches and boats, he was a high-functioning criminal until his addiction to being a "garbage head" for any substance led to a dramatic downfall.

Facing a prison sentence for grand theft auto and attempted murder of a police officer, Billy's fate was changed by a judge who saw the transformation in his brother and offered the same chance. After getting on his knees in desperation, Billy woke up on March 21st, 1986, with the obsession to use completely lifted. He shares how divine intervention, relentless consistency, and a life of service led him from being an unemployable felon to a Vice President at a major corporation, celebrating 39 years of continuous sobriety.
