Researchers have made a breakthrough in cryptography, building a new foundation for quantum cryptography that could make it more secure than classical encryption. The new approach, developed by Dakshita Khurana and Kabir Tomer, uses quantum building blocks called one-way puzzles to generate locks and keys.
