Curtis Simms is a cybersecurity expert with more than three decades of experience. He has worked for top-ranked healthcare organizations in the US, providing strategic and tactical direction for both publicly traded and private organizations. Curtis has managed multi-million dollar security budgets, led mergers and acquisitions, and developed cybersecurity practitioners. Currently, he holds the role of Vice President and Head of Information Security for Bright Health Group based in Minnesota.
Curtis has been serving as an ISACA Topic Leader for over the past two years and holds several security certifications including CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+ etc. He is also a graduate from the FBI Citizens Academy.
Curtis is a Proud U.S. Air Force Veteran who has served in two branches of the military, the Missouri Army and Air National Guard. He has been awarded the National Defense Service Medal for Operation Desert Storm, in the Persian Gulf War.
