Well as promised I will be sharing another sermon preached originally by John G Lake back in the early 1900’s.

We should pay attention to this message now considering that beginning back in the days when the Catholic church was turning quickly away from God, setting aside the purity and the necessity of the Holy Spirit to do the will of the Father. You see the Holy Spirit is not given to support your agenda. Every powerless church is evidenced of that truth. Abd but you see once they continued on with the churchy organization without the Holy Spirit, it is like they got mad and simply stated or really what they did was to out and out reject the Holy Spirit, saying things like well He is not for todays church, or the miracles, signs, and wonders are not for today. What was really happening is that because they were not operating in these things they tried to simply come up with some other reason, other than pure rebelling against God and blaspheming His Spirit, as to why these things are not for today. They perverted the scripture just like satan did with Eve and tada we are at the garden scene all over again.

So but it is not hopeless as long as we continue to teach on the truth of the bible. John G Lake operated in the Holy Spirit in immeasurable ways changing the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. That is a lot of witnesses to the fact that the Holy Spirit is for today.
