Manage episode 478792763 series 1119850
-CBS Sports wrote yesterday that in 2021, 128 college players gave up their remaining college eligibility and declared for the NFL Draft; 24 of those players were drafted in the 1st round, but 28 of those players went undrafted and the median underclassmen pick in that draft was pick 106---a 4th round placement
-Fast forward to last year, where the 2024 NFL Draft featured 58 underclassmen (70 yes than 3 years prior) and only 5 of those players were undrafted—and the median draft pick was 61st (end of 2nd round)….is it harder to find the hidden gems at end of draft because of this?
