After the Crushing of the Other side learning Lessons in Tanya chapter 31 we discuss the danger of the side effects of depression while keeping our Goal clear to reach Simcha always in avodas Hashem. For sure there are times for Bitterness to leverage this quickly towards Joy. Like the 7 days leading up to Rosh Chodesh Nissan we get up quickly to prepare for Pesach.
