Our featured idealist of the week is Laphonza Butler, the newly appointed U.S. Senator from California, who succeeds the late Diane Feinstein. The Big Interview is with Juliany Taveras, the playwright for the world premiere of Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress, which opens at Children’s Theater Company on October 14 (note: I’m a CTC board member).
