Have you ever noticed that you tend to take things personally when you know you probably shouldn't? Maybe you get defensive, or simmer over an issue for days - maybe you've had a full blown relationship breakdown because things were said & the hurt was so deep that it felt irreparable. The reason we often take some things personally (even when they are not personal at all) is because we all have our own insecurities deep within & whenever something offends you personally, those insecurities have been triggered. In this episode, I discuss some of the way we can overcome this.
