Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, one of the greatest missionaries in the history of the Church. Known for his zeal, courage, and love for Jesus, St. Francis Xavier traveled across the world to share the Gospel — baptizing thousands and giving everything for the salvation of souls.
His right arm, preserved in the Gesù in Rome, is a reminder of the countless people he brought to Christ. His life challenges us to step out of comfort, take up the mission, and boldly bring Jesus to others.
This feast is also a solemnity for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, honoring St. Francis Xavier as our patron.
Let’s go out, evangelize, and change the world — just like he did.
