Today we discuss another sin with yet another righteous counterpart: Unrighteous Anger. Proverbs 14:29 says, "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly." We are so often prone to listen to the flame of anger that is kindled in our sinful hearts, that which so quickly catches and grows into malice and strife (Proverbs 30:33)--for the "anger of man" so often leads to sin, and does not promote a righteous, God-fearing life (James 1:20). So how do we kill unrighteous anger in our lives? And how do we differentiate it with righteous anger, knowing when to both "overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21) and "be angry and do not sin" (Ephesians 4:26)?
