Episode 242 is here with some fantastically fun scifi movies! We start off with "Slipstream" from 1989. Starring Mark Hamill and Bill Paxton with a truly impressive upporting cast. It's an interesting post-apocalyptic story that largely focuses on AI and the ultimate question of just what makes something "alive". It has issues here and there but it's really throught-provoking and moves along at a quick pace. We follow that with 1992's "Freejack" which stars Emilio Estevez and Mick Jagger. This one also has an amazing amount of A-Listers filling in the cast. The story here involves a sort of time travel and the pursuit of immortality.
