Dr. Q grew up in Queens New York, and moved back to her home state after training at UC Davis in California. She grew up with allergic rhinitis, which led to her fascination with allergies early on in med school. She recently co-authored a book with a colleague, on unusual allergies one can have including gluten, water, kissing, and exercise induced allergy. It’s called, “What? I Could Be Allergic to That?!
