Dr. Trevor Lohman is an assistant professor and researcher into the neuroscience of aging. He joins us in this episode to give us a crash course on the physical functions of the brain, and how current science still has no good explanation for the phenomena of consciousness. We discuss the history of quantum physics experiments into the "double slit" problem and the collapse of the wave function, and how consciousness seems to be fundamental to how the universe works.
