In this episode, we read 2 Chronicles chapters 5-7. Solomon completes the temple and brings in the Ark of the Covenant, and God’s glorious presence fills the house with a cloud. Solomon then leads Israel in prayer and dedication, asking God to hear the prayers of His people and forgive them when they repent. The Lord responds by sending fire from heaven and confirming His covenant with Solomon. These chapters remind us that God dwells among those who seek Him with humble hearts and that true worship begins with obedience and repentance.
