This was Hayley Mills’ first project after her run at the Walt Disney Studios. This film, directed by Ida Lupino, is an authentic look at the coming of age of teenage girls in a Catholic school. Rosalind Russell gives one of her signature performances at Mother Superior along with a solid supporting cast.
