She was an advocate for women's rights and civil rights. She was appointed by Ronald Regan to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services. And she was also appointed by Reagan to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland. Kimberly Heckler also talks about her book -- A Woman of Firsts: Margaret Heckler, Political Trailblazer.
