When you think of a low cost smartphone, you’re probably expecting features to be limited and lagging. But the NUU N20 from NUU Mobile might be a phone that will impress, and only around $125. This Android device delivers more than you’d expect — with AI tools, dual SIMs, and enterprise-readiness.
Bloatware Free Android 14 Experience
The N20 Android smartphone runs on a clean build of Android 14, with zero bloatware out of the box. The only app installed is NUU Help, a portal to get help for your smartphone.

And it’s AI Capable
It also supports AI-enabled apps like ChatGPT and Gemini, thanks to the Unisoc T606 chipset and entry-level AI support built into the system. Many phones (including older phones like the iPhone 11 and Samsung S21) do not have that ability.

Unisoc T606 + 6GB RAM Delivers More Than Expected
With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable via SD card), the N20 proves it can keep up with light multitasking and everyday use. The octa-core processor isn’t blazing fast but does the job efficiently — whether you’re messaging, browsing, or running basic productivity apps.
A Display and Battery Built for Everyday Use
The NUU N20 comes with a 6.6″ HD+ display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and app transitions feel smoother than you’d expect from a budget phone.
Battery Life
Add a 5,000mAh battery, and you’ve got power to last the day — as long as you’re not binge-watching videos or running high-drain apps nonstop.
Gaming
The phone does rank fairly low on the GPU with the Imagination PowerVR GE8322 Running at 550MHz. Simpler games such as Clash of Clans or Among Us will do fine, but higher res gaming might be a little slow.
@geekazine Creating Vertical Video Content with the NUU N20 I unboxed the NUU N20 Android Phone and testing it’s features. This is what a tiktok reels shorts would look like. Would you use it for that? #review #nuu #android #verticalvideo #contentcreation #phone

Enterprise-Ready at Budget Pricing
If you’re looking for an Android phone to add to the company phone system, the N20 is ready for deployment. Many different options on the phone for customer support agents, warehouse managers, supervisors, or whoever needs to stay in communication.
Dual SIM Support and Zero-Touch Enrollment
Whether you’re a small business or managing a corporate device fleet, the N20 offers features like dual SIM support and zero-touch enrollment, making it easier to roll out and manage in enterprise environments.
Cameras, Sensors, and Perks
The rear camera setup includes a 16MP main lens and an 8MP wide-angle camera, with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It won’t replace a flagship, but for casual content, it works well enough. Sensors include facial recognition, fingerprint unlock, and the usual suspects like accelerometer and proximity sensors.
Screen Protector and Case Included
Out of the box, the N20 comes with a pre-installed screen protector and a clear rubber case. This will save another $30 and help keep the phone protected from drops and scratches.
Real Time Experience
Of course, I took the N20 out to use as best I can (didn’t add a SIM card). Many apps can be installed, but if an Android App needs the App Runtime for Chrome (ARC), you won’t be able to use it on this phone.
I am putting this phone into my video production because it can run many of the apps I need. For my QSC Touchmix – I can run faders. The Director One Utility app works really well on this phone. I will also be reviewing JamZone music software, which I show how well it runs on the phone.
Final Thoughts: A True Budget Contender
The NUU N20 isn’t here to win benchmarks or wow you with flagship specs. But it’s not trying to. It’s a low cost smartphone that runs modern Android, handles AI apps, supports business use, and keeps things surprisingly smooth for just $125.
If you’re on a tight budget or need a reliable, no-fuss smartphone for your team or yourself, the NUU N20 is worth a serious look.
