Samsung Unpacked 2025 was a statement as to where mobile tech is going since the CES interview. AI, hardware and premium design all combine in one sleek package. The focus was on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but it also announced the Z Flip 7 (including a lower cost FE model) and the Galaxy Watch 8 series. Here’s the full breakdown.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: Power, Performance, and Portability

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is Samsung’s slimmest fold yet, as they wanted to make it feel like a regular phone when closed. It comes with a 200MP primary camera, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for the cover screen and a titanium-reinforced body that comes with a new ArmourFlex hinge.

This reengineered hinge features a Dual CAM mechanism to reduce screen wobble, minimize the possibility of re-creases on the main display, and opens up to a full 160°.

Snapdragon 8

On the inside, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy, with a 38% CPU boost, 41% NPU boost, and 26% GPU jump. One UI 8 on Android 16 and Google Gemini Pro come out of the box, making this an AI-driven monster of productivity. Thanks to tools like Gemini Live and AI summaries that keep up with scrolling, this phone is blurring the line between the smartphone and the digital assistant.

Priced at $1,999.99, it can be preordered now and will ship July 25.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 & Flip 7 FE: Small, fashionable, intelligent

For a more pocketable device, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 delivers with a 4.1-inch Flex Window and full 6.9-inch main display. That outside screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, and you can access more than 20 apps, messaging and even a game of pinball. Yes, you can, play some pinball without cracking open the phone.

Flip 7 still boasts a solid 50MP shooter and Samsung’s Pro Visual engine to get some high quality results from it. You also get longer battery life — up to 8 additional hours of video playback.

At a minimum of $1,099.99, it’s accompanied by a Flip 7 FE (Fan Edition) model at the lower cost of \$899.99. They’re both available in black or white and will ship starting on July 25.

Galaxy Watch 8 series: smarter health, sleeker design

Samsung released three new wearables in the Galaxy Watch 8 range, too. Base Watch 8 is on sale starting at $349.99 (40mm Wi-Fi) with LTE adding roughly $50. The Watch 8 Classic climbs to $500, re-introducing the popular rotating bezel, the 3nm processor, and enhanced bioactive sensors.

The standout? The Galaxy Watch Ultra, which costs $650. That includes a Titanium Blue case, 64GB of storage, 100-hour battery life and 10ATM water resistance, which suggests wearers will be able to take it a bit more rugged environments for their trek or extreme workouts. * all Watches feature Gemini AI on-device to provide greater battery performance and is able to respond to “Hey Google” directly on the device without your phone.

With features like antioxidant and vascular load tracking, these watches are all the way in the deep end of the pool of preventive health.
