From the series "After the Resurrection: Easter to Pentecost"

Acts 1:12-26 - Jesus has now returned to heaven and the promise of the Holy Spirit is the next major thing to occur. All they know is that the Holy Spirit will come at some point and Jesus will return as He left (Acts 1:8, 11).

There are some things happening that this group of people will navigate through. They navigate in sincerity, together, and with a love for Jesus.

Isn’t that like you and me. As we anticipate God’s next thing in our lives, we sincerely want God’s best, are not interested in being an island to ourselves, and we love Jesus.
