In the Greater Cincinnati area, about 91% of parents view their child’s mental health as good, very good or excellent. But 39% of area youth responded that they feel anxious all or most of the time.

The findings were gathered from fall 2023 through spring 2024 as part the Greater Cincinnati Youth Mental Well-Being assessment by Hopeful Empowered Youth (HEY!), a bi3-funded initiative. bi3 serves as a strategic partner to TriHealth, and together the organizations are working to increase access to behavioral and mental health services.
