As ambassadors, we are the righteousness of God. And just as we couldn’t do anything to make God love you, you can’t do anything to make God un-love you. God doesn’t love for what you have done but He loves for who He is. His love is genuine and is forever.
The story of the prodigal son, of which we all know, is actually a story that focuses on the prodigality of the father and not the son.
