Chris Shelton is a former Scientologist and Sea Org member and is now a writer, consultant and YouTuber. He escaped Scientology in 2012 and started a YouTube channel to discuss his recovery and break down how destructive cults work.

He has since accomplished a Masters degree in the psychology of coercive control and regularly lectures about thought reform and predatory tactics.

He also served as a guest and consultant for the Emmy-award winning Scientology and the Aftermath TV series with Leah Remini.
