Welcome to our annual Montreal Fringe Festival special episode: Go Fringe Yourself!

The Montreal Fringe Festival is well underway and runs straight until June 15th and is jam packed with theater, music and good times.

For tickets and showtimes for all the shows that we talk about on this episode and ALL THE OTHER SHOWS make sure to got to FringeMTL and start buying your tickets soon because some shows are already selling fast.

Oh also, do yourself a favour and check out last week’s episode with Amy Blackmore if you can’t get enough Montreal Fringe content for your ear-holes.

We’ve got amazing artists talking about 3 amazing shows for you today from all over the map creatively-speaking:

  • Bob Marley: How Reggae Change the World: Join Duane Forrest on an acoustic journey through the roots of reggae to the global influence of Bob Marley. Experience acoustic renditions of legendary reggae songs that have reshaped countless lives, including Duane’s own.”
  • Countercurrents:Countercurrents follows journalist Veronica and her new roommate – her mother Rong, who has turned to 5G conspiracy theories to treat her debilitating chronic pain. As their worldviews drift apart, both women wrestle with how to live with someone they no longer like, but still can’t help but love.”
  • Quickshot: In this satirical western, Quickshot, a disillusioned cowboy, struggles with loss, violence, and an inability to break free from his own narrative of defeat. Amid absurd encounters, he is forced to confront both internal and external battles over ego, masculinity, and identity. His journey is one of self-doubt and self-discovery.

So sit back, relax – and GO FRINGE YOURSELF!
