Paula Reed landed in Texas the same night that man first walked on the moon!
Born in Washington DC, but moved around the country during her school years
because of her father’s space-related engineering job, she now considers Dallas to
be her home. Watching space launches from her backyard in FL for four years before
moving to Texas, it is not a surprise that she is so enthusiastic about working with
the Bemer medical device, which NASA champions.
Paula attended the University of North Texas, where she received her Bachelor’s
and Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology, Audiology, and Education. Her career
focus in the Dallas area has been in schools, nursing facilities, and private practice,
assisting children and adults to reach their maximum potential in life by improving
speech, feeding, and communication abilities, and job-related skills. While utilizing
other EMF devices in her therapeutic strategies, Paula was introduced to the
Bemer, and she quickly saw the benefit of what Bemer could bring to her
profession and the quality of life of many others!
“It is a Blessing”, Paula says, to have taught many of her specialized techniques in
attention, behavior management and belief systems to parents and educators
around the world, influencing future generations. Paula’s lifelong passion for
community charity work, lead her to create a non-profit agency in 2005 called
Touching Our World Foundation. Touching Our World’s mission is to make a
difference in the lives of others, one heart at a time! They support special
individuals and groups to bring their projects to the public, such as Sailing to the
Future, Zig Ziglar Foundation, Project Christmas Hope, Hopi Nation Revitalization,
and Wellness Assistance.
Paula enjoys traveling, sailing, music, ballroom dancing, and the
healing arts in her leisure time. The Bemer has accompanied her on every one of her trips for over 7
years, even sailing the high seas with the Bemer rechargeable battery capabilities!
