Matthew Bound signed for Swansea City in 1997. In his second season at the Vetch Field the Swans made the Division Three play-offs. The next year, Bound, alongside Jason Smith and with Roger Freestone behind them, formed the defence that brought Swansea the title... the club's first! Bound even scored the vital penalty to secure the trophy!

But, as is always the case at Swansea City, for every up there are downs. There was the death of Terry Coles at that title-decider, and a subsequent financial crisis that saw players sacked and Bound eventually leave. He was publicly vilified and his family abused as part of the fall out when the club's CVA was arranged.

In this episode Bound - who now hosts a club matchday hospitality lounge - ducks no question and gives an insight into his career and life while giving his side to the financial situation.

And, with the Swansea Half Marathon just weeks away, (very) keen runner Matt talks with the boys about his previous times in the event, his endurance events and why running is so important to him.

We enjoyed recording it. We hope you enjoy listening!
