This week on the show, Maine and Josh recap Grapplefest 19. We talk about the top matches on the main card, including the title fight between Adele Fornarino and Julia Maele.

In the news section of the show we discussed Marcelo Garcia versus Lachlan. Giles announced for one championship in a true match of the legends. We discussed some of these stylistic tendencies between both and potentially where the mashup will take place. We also talk about a longer preview closer to the event.

In the recap section of the show we discussed the under 65 kg championship match of Adele Fornarino vs Julia Maele. We talk about the quick finish and ankle lock from Adele and some other potential matchups and rematches that may be available to her as she defends the title.

We talk about Michael Pixley vs Jean Maltese with Pixley taking a decision win. We discussed his passing range and the ranges that he likes to operate in and potentially some of the game planning tendencies. His opponents may be able to look at in this upcoming trials.
In a recap of Max Hanson vs Seany Stewart we discussed the dynamic offense that Max put up trying to submit Stewart and we discussed numerous very interesting defensive reactions that Stewart put in the way of Max Hanson. We broke down a D'arce setup and defense, a rear naked, choke defense that Stewart pulled off that is rarely seen and then we discussed some of the other offensive tendencies for Max that led his decision victory in the match.

We also broke down Brandon Reed vs Philippe Geyer that saw Brandan be able to win the match with a Rear-naked Choke after a phenomenal slide by duck under and back and then a second back later in the match, we discussed the speed that Reed has and how that has become a staple of the heavyweight divisions in the modern era.
