2022 was the beginning of the grand return to normalcy in many ways, and for comedy: there was a lot to look at and even more we missed. From big comedies tentpole comedies like Jackass Forever and Everything Everywhere All At Once, to smaller scale send-ups like Daniel Radcliff in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story or Jon Hamm in Confess Fletch, the comedy film was visible but sometimes fleeting. Plus, we pour one out to the big comic icons lost in 2022 including Bob Saget and Gilbert Gottfried, and talk about the contraversies that most blew our mind - Kenan vs Chris Redd, Will Smith's slapgate and the great SNL cast exodus.
