In Daily Devotions With Dead People, Her Theology brings the wisdom of church history to life in a fun and meaningful way. Today, we hear from Athanasius, the “chief influencer” of the 4th century, as he guides us through the awe-inspiring mystery of the Incarnation of Christ—God becoming fully human while remaining fully divine.

We reflect on how Jesus, as Creator and Redeemer, took on human flesh yet sustained all creation, showing us humility, love, and the miraculous depth of God’s plan for salvation.
