In Daily Devotions With Dead People, Her Theology brings church history to life in a fun, meaningful way. Today, we hear from Augustine, one of Christianity’s greatest thinkers, on the humility of the Incarnation.

Augustine reflects on how Jesus—the Son of God—took on human flesh, entering our broken, messy world to redeem us. From hunger and thirst to being tried and scourged, Christ humbled Himself in every way for our salvation. This devotion invites us to pause, reflect, and worship the incredible love and humility of our Savior this Christmas.
