No position in rugby union generates debate quite like the fly-half. So often the face of a rugby team, the number 10 is always under more scrutiny than any other player on the pitch. So how should we be judging fly halves in 2025, and what separates the good from the simply world class?

This week on the HG Rugby podcast, was joined by professional sports analyst Angus Usher to deep dive this topic. We considered attack, defence and goal kicking, using data Angus has gathered over the past few seasons.

We then go on to discuss Angus' career in analysis, his thoughts on data in rugby and his tips for trends we should watch out for in the upcoming Six Nations!
